Jesse Cutting grew up in Lyme, New Hampshire and graduated from Paul Smith’s College with a B.S in Ecological Forest Management and Forest Operations in 2017. Jesse has worked in multiple areas of forestry since graduating college which has provided a range of experience to work on any number of forestry related projects.
Jesse is a licensed forester in New Hampshire (#547) and Vermont (#148.0134047), as well as a Tree Farm Inspector in both states.
Jesse currently lives in Lyme with his wife, Ellie and his daughter, Winslow.
Tinkhamtown was a small settlement between Winslow and Sugar Hill in Lyme near where Jesse grew up and where his parents still live. It was settled by the Tinkham family in the early to mid 1800’s. All that remains are a handful of cellar holes. The small family settlement still comes up in conversation as the whereabouts of a cemetery in the area of the settlement are unclear. A number of people have claimed to have found the cemetery but either have never been able to find it again or make any official claim of its location. Most likely a mystery better left unsolved but a very good excuse for a walk in the woods.
