Forest Management Planning
Developing forest management plans as well as updating existing plans is a key tool and important part in long term forest stewardship. The written forest management plans outline activities that will take place as well as describing forest conditions and structure. Plan prepared will be a blue print for management outlining how to responsibly achieve the goals and objectives for a property. Plans will be written to meet or exceed the requirements for New Hampshire’s Current Use program, Vermonts Use Value Appraisal program, and Tree Farm Certification.
Sugarbush Management
Helping landowners identify potential opportunities for sugarbush establishment or expansion.

Wildlife Habitat Improvements
Using both commercial and pre commercial activities to help create diverse habitat.
Trail Maintenance and Construction
Working with landowners to develop and maintain recreation opportunities. This includes planning and trail layout, constructing new trails, and maintaining exciting trails. As well as aesthetic improvements in high use areas.
Forest Stand Improvement
Forest Stand Improvement (FSI) or Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) are used in pre commercial stands to help improve vigor and future quality of crop trees and can also be applied to releasing fruit trees and masting trees to benefit wildlife.
